The FUKUJIN chapter of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc, was established on the campus of UNC Charlotte on April 21, 2018. LSU is a Latino-based intercollegiate fraternity founded on April 5, 1979 at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, New Jersey. Though this fraternity is Latino-based it is not Latino-exclusive, with over 85 different nationalities. Lambda Sigma Upsilon was founded by Twenty Men, who with revolutionary minds created a home for underrepresented ethnic minorities at colleges and universities. Which is what this chapter continues to uphold and carry on.
